Math
Students entering CPS or who have not completed the Algebra Exit Exam will have the opportunity to test on TBD.
World Language
As you may know from previous communications, the World Language Department at Jones requires a placement test for all incoming freshmen who have previous knowledge of any of the three languages that the school offers: Mandarin Chinese, French, and Spanish. It is very important that the students take the exam if they feel that they are ready to take a higher level of the language. Students with no previous language experience or students who fail to take the placement exam will be placed automatically into level 1 of their chosen language.
Please complete this form if you are interested in taking a placement test for Spanish, Mandarin, or French proficiency to determine potential placement into a higher-level world language course or a native-language Spanish course.
Placement tests will be held at Jones College Prep on TBD.
**IEP/504 Accommodation: Students eligible for accommodations will receive them. Please submit a copy of the 504/IEP to the Main Office prior to your student’s test date.
