Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is to oversee all matters related to Jones College Prep’s budget. Membership on the Budget Committee is open to other LSC members, teachers, staff, and parents/guardians. The Budget Committee shall be responsible for reviewing and advising the Principal in preparing the school’s budget to be presented to the LSC for approval, discussing and evaluating budget matters, and presenting written and/or oral reports and recommendations regarding the budget to the LSC.

School Affairs Committee

Proposed Revision to Jones LSC Bylaws
The School Affairs Committee has oversight responsibility for all matters that impact school culture. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: diversity, inclusion & equity initiatives, teacher hiring & retention practices and student orientation & academic success. The Committee shall consist of at least three members, with at least one of those being an LSC member. The Principal and School Culture Coordinator shall give updates to the School Affairs Committee. The Committee is open to other LSC members, teachers, staff, parents/guardians/caregivers, and community members. The School Affairs Committee shall be responsible for presenting periodic reports and recommendations to the LSC.
