About Me

Ms. Kim Bowman
Office Hours: Ac Lab or before school in Room 5022.

Ms. Bowman, hailing originally from the Netherlands, grew up all over the southeast. As a child, she moved around a lot, before finally settling in South Carolina where she graduated high school. Afterward, Kim attended Clemson University where she double majored in Secondary Education and Mathematical Sciences. During which, she managed to graduate Summa Cum Laude while building a ravenous college football passion. In 2005, Kim relocated to Chicago and began teaching at Robeson High School. She spent 8 years there, during which she served as an assistant football coach, along with many other leadership and extracurricular roles. In 2013, she accepted a position teaching math at Jones College Prep and has been there ever since. During the past 9 of these 11 years, she has served as a Math Department co-chair, being the parent liaison for Freshmen Placement and testing. When she's not teaching, you can probably find Kim in the gym, traveling, hiking a new mountain or watching her precious Clemson Tigers.
