Mission
The Jones College Prep Local School Council is a 15-member democratically-elected public body. The LSCs' primary powers are budgetary oversight, approval of a school’s plan for improvement, and the selection, evaluation, and renewal of a principal’s contract. High school LSCs consist of six parents, two community members, two teachers, three students, one non-teacher staff member, and the principal. Our meetings are open to the public.
