Fast Times aren't only for Ridgemont High
This past Friday (3/7/2010 )night the JCP track team competed at the U-High Indoor Track Meet #3 and came away with 14 all time top 10 school performances on the boys side and 8 all time top 10 performances on the girls side. Three of the performances were school records!

Touring Jones for Incoming Freshmen
Jones College Prep will be hosting tours for incoming freshmen who have received an offer of acceptance. Please note that these tours are only for accepted students and families and is intended to give those students who have not yet had an opportunity to visit JCP a chance to do so. The tour will last for one hour starting on the hour. There are two available dates and times listed below.
Thursday, March 5, 2010 between 10AM and 12PM
Friday, March 6, 2010 between 2PM and 4PM

Completed copies of the permission forms are to be returned to Mrs. White in the Counseling Department by Wednesday March 3rd by 3:30 p.m. Forms will not be accepted via fax or email or on the day of the trip.
*NOTE: half of the freshman class will attend this day long retreat on March 25th, the other half will attend on March 26th.

Legends Ball
The Jones College Prep African American Club will present the 1st Annual Legends Ball on February 26th at 6pm at Jones. The Legends Ball is a formal event in which the African American Club has created a space where women are celebrated and honored. The purpose of this event is to give women a voice that celebrates their existence while challenging stereotypical and marginalized constructions that limit the identity of women.
