Jones #3 in Illinois - "America's Best High Schools" (5/10/2012)
For the third straight year, Jones College Prep has been rated a "Gold Medal" school by US News in the annual "America's Best High Schools" report. The study utilizes various data, including Advanced Placement (AP) participation and performance. Jones ranked #3 in Illinois (behind only Northside and Walter Payton) and #103 nationally. Jones Ranks Among the Best! (11/1/2011)
Jones ranks #4 in Illinois! The Tribune and Sun Times both ran articles on Monday, October 31, showing where Jones stands among public high schools in the state. In 2011, 92.8% of Jones juniors met or exceeded state standards on the PSAE, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year. Click on the Tribune website to see this year's results and interactive state report card for Jones. Mayor Rahm Emanuel called Dr. Powers to congratulate Jones on our excellent performance.

Jones Transfer Process Now Available (3/1/2012)
The Jones Transfer Application for the 2012-13 school is now available on our website, www.jonescollegeprep.org. Click on the "About JCP" tab for "Transfer Students." If you have any questions, please contact Director of Student Services Molly Lee at MLee23@cps.edu. Applications can only be submitted between April 23 and April 26. Applications must be postmarked between April 23 and April 26 to be accepted.

JAMISON DALE WINS CPS CROSS COUNTRY TITLE! (10/17/2011)
JCP Junior Jamison Dale won the Chicago Public Schools individual cross country title this past Saturday at Washington Park. Jamison became the first male athlete and second over-all in the history of Jones to win a city championship.
