Jones' League of Legends IL Champs

Jones' League of Legends team is the Illinois State Champions! They swept the LAN finals on Saturday (4-27), beating out Oswego East, Lake Forest, and OPRF to claim the title. Unbelievable play, and great production.

LSC Parent Representative Vacancies

The Jones Local School Council will have two parent representative positions available for the 2019-2020 school year. Parents of current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Powers at pjpowers@cps.edu. Interested parents should plan to attend the June 4 LSC meeting.

Need a good laugh? Need some relief from stress? Have no fear, as it’s time for The Jones College Perps’ end-of-the-year improv comedy show! The Jones College Perps is JCP’s Comedy Club and their show, “No IDs Allowed,” will come to the Bennett Stage on Wednesday, May 8th at 4:30 PM.

FOJ Spring Gala

Get ready to put on your dancing shoes and join us for the party of the year, the FOJ Spring Gala. This fun evening includes a sit-down dinner with wine, 2 complimentary drink tickets, live auction, and paddle raise.

AP Exams Pre-Bubbling

All students taking AP tests must report to the south cafeteria for pre-administration bubbling at the start of AcLab this week. Make sure to bring a pencil.

Blueprint Takes Top Honors

JCP’s Blueprint student newspaper won the Scholastic Press Association of Chicago’s Sweepstakes Award and other honors.

Congrats to the JCP Math Team!

The Jones Math Team had a fantastic weekend, taking first place overall at their competition site, and first place in many of the events as well! This placing qualifies Jones for the state competition in early May.

The ending total team score was 480.
