Daniel Kovacs

Mr. Kovacs is a social studies teacher at Jones College Prep.  During his time at Jones, Mr. Kovacs has taught Honors Economics, Honors World Studies, AP Research, Honors US History, and AP US History.  Kovacs holds degrees from Kalamazoo College (B.A.) and The University of Chicago (M.A), and Northwestern University (M.S., Ed). He has also previously taught at Wilbur Wright College in Irving Park.  Kovacs was a Koldyke Global Teacher fellow for the 2017-2018 academic year, which financed a research trip to Chile in the summer of 2017.  Additionally, Kovacs is an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves.
