SUGGESTIONS FOR VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
- Tutor or mentor Jones College Prep students at the new JCP Student Union.

- Arrange job "shadow days" for students to join you and your colleagues at your place of employment or participate in mock interviews with students at Jones College Prep.

- Arrange a career day to speak to Jones College Prep students about your profession and areas of expertise.
- Ask colleagues or employees to collect and donate musical instruments for use by Jones College Prep band and orchestra students or set up a repair and replacement fund.
PRINCIPAL AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT
- Offer your company's expertise in management, finance or technology to the implementation of Jones College Prep's strategic plan.

SCHOOL/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
- Establish internships or summer jobs for Jones College Prep students at your work place.
- Organize a field trip and accompany students to a museum, historical site, cultural event or a sporting event.
- Donate to needy students through clothing and holiday drives.
FACILITIES ENHANCEMENT
- Provide human and financial resources to assist in the development of computer-based learning or to enhance existing computer facilities at Jones College Prep.
- Donate software, graphing calculators, overhead projectors, etc.
- Provide funds to support technology development, Internet access and media management at Jones College Prep.
CAPITAL ENHANCEMENT
- Assist with capital upgrades at Jones College Prep such as new additions or renovations, including the installation of new windows, landscaping or the acquisition of school furnishings.
- Help build or expand class libraries, the school library, and computer laboratories or media centers.
