The African American Club Presents: Diversity Roundtable
This event will take place at Jones College Prep on February 19, in the Auditorium at 6pm. There will be a small reception following the discussion. Is the current educational system in this country equitable for all students regardless of race, gender, economic status or sexual orientation? Are educators deliberate about insuring that the educational journey of all students is equitable and empowering? Come and discuss these issues with Phd educators, doctorate students and Jones students as they use the critically acclaimed Always Running as a point of reference to explore the discourse surrounding diversity and equity in secondary schools.Posted on January 28, 2010 |
