FINALS SCHEDULE FOR JONES COLLEGE PREP - Semester One
As a college prep school, Jones stresses the need to create an environment in which serious examinations can take place. The cooperation of all students, teachers, and staff members is necessary to facilitate this schedule and to maintain proper testing conditions.
- All students are to report to assigned classrooms on time. No students will be allowed to remain in the halls during testing.
- Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class.
- Students who are not testing must report to the cafeteria for silent study. If a student does not have the first final during a given day, he or she may remain at home and arrive on time for the next final. A student may leave the building if he or she does not have the last final given on that day. Students who choose to remain in the building must report promptly to the cafeteria for study hall.
- Students must be in the cafeteria during their assigned lunch periods if they choose not to leave the building.
- Unless the assessment requires the production of sound, testing rooms are to remain quiet during the period so as to not disturb testing occurring in neighboring rooms. Teachers will proctor their own exams and must remain in the room during testing.
- All classes are expected to be either giving an exam or conducting class. No students are exempt from classes. Students must be in classes so that we meet the minutes required by the state for our students and for our funding.
